My practice welcomes adults and adolescents facing concerns such as managing stress, dealing with loss, improving relationships, loneliness, eating and body-image issues, self-esteem, anxiety, sadness and depression. My approach to therapy emphasizes the development of a mutually respectful helping bond and integrates psychodynamic, insight-oriented, and cognitive-behavioral perspectives. I will work to help you more effectively manage distress and maximize growth and joy.

In addition to private practice, I worked as an attending psychologist at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Hospital’s Child and Adolescent Eating Disorder Program (2002 - 2015) and Adult Eating Disorder Program (2008 - 2015) and as an assistant professor of psychology at UCLA Neuropsychiatric Hospital (2016 - 2021). I have been licensed in California since 2002 (CA PSY 18124).

I received my Ph.D at the University of Colorado at Boulder (2001) and completed a clinical internship & post-doctoral training at UCLA child and adolescent psychiatry (2000-2002). I am an out-of-network provider for many health insurance plans. I welcome calls to discuss payment and insurance.
